Family
My family originally is from San Diego, California. We have a lovely house there. At the moment we live in the Netherlands. We moved abroad in early February, 2007. As an expat we experience many pros and cons. Insofar the experience has been bumpy, but worthwhile.
My father works as the Director of Operations of Joost. He has been working there for almost a year. He loves his work although it keeps him very busy. Mom and sis do not get to see him very often. I know that each moment they are able to spend together. They tend to be loving and happy. I often hear much laughter from Mom and Sis. Loud laughter that makes one know that joy inhibits their lives.

My mom, she currently is looking to do something on her own, so she is able to spend time with me and sis. She has been supporting us through different means and potentially some consulting work. She also spend all her time worried about us. I know she always tries her best to do what is right for us. Well, Mom and Dad are gods in a child's eyes. They are always the best no matter what the actual outcome is.
My sis, Jasmine is kindhearted, smart, cunning, and lovely. She also has a website of her own at Jasmine.vanZoest.com, which contains some helpful information for friends that recently decided to have kids and for all of you out there looking to sift through the endless list of things you could buy. I hope she and I will grow up to be the best of friends.
